Fairfax Station, Va

Fairfax Station is located within a suburb of Washington, D.C. The community is bedroom commuity, which basically means that the residents live in the area but generally commute back and forth to work elsewhere. Fairfax Station was originally a railroad station with a close proximity to Fairfax, hence its name "Fairfax Station".  The famous Clara Barton tended to both Confederate and Union soldiers at Fairfax Station during the Civil War.
